What are the Night Noodle Markets?

The Night Noodle Markets is a major highlight of the Good Food Month festival and has been brought to Adelaide for the first time in 2015. Adelaide Festival Precinct and Station Road is transformed for 11 fabulous nights, with up to 20 food stalls, bars and nightly entertainment.
This street-food style market is a great meeting place for families, office workers and their friends, who want to drink, dine, relax under the stars and soak up the atmosphere in this authentic Asian hawker market.

Where is the event located?

The Night Noodle Markets is held in Adelaide Festival Precinct and Station Road. 

What time do the markets open / close?

The markets trade from: Thursday 24 September to Sunday 4 October, 2015 (11 nights, open each day)

Trading hours:
Monday to Wednesday 5pm – 9pm
Thursday and Friday 5pm – 10pm
Saturday 12 midday-10pm
Sunday 12 midday – 9pm
At the Event

Where are the entry points?

The entry points are at Station Road, King William Street and the footbridge from Adelaide Oval.

How much is it to enter the markets?

There is no fee to enter the markets, this is a free community event.

Is there a map that shows the stalls and restaurants?

Can anyone go into the Coopers or Yalumba Bar areas?

Yes, anyone can go in to these seating areas.

Where are the toilets?

The toilets are located near the King William Street entrance.

What is the parking situation?

As we are expecting quite a lot of patrons to the event, we would recommend public transport is the first option for all people attending this event.

Will There Be?

Will there be EFTPOS accepted at the markets?

Yes, all food stalls and bar accept cash and EFTPOS.

Will there be ATMs at the markets?

Yes, there will be ATMs on site.

Will there be First Aid at the markets?

Yes, there will be a First Aid area located near the toilets at the King William Street entrance.

Will there be wheel chair accessibility?

Yes, the entire venue is accessible and ramps are present to access different areas of the site.

Will there be live entertainment at the event?

Yes, there will be a variety of live entertainment daily. See the nightly entertainment shedule here.

General

Do the markets still go ahead if it’s raining?

The event will go ahead rain, hail or shine, however a call is made by the organisers at 3pm on the day in question if the weather is dangerous to our staff and patrons to see whether the markets will go ahead or not.

Are children welcome?

Yes, the Night Noodle Markets is a family-friendly event. The event is open to guests of all ages.

Are dogs permitted?

Yes, dogs are allowed into the event site. Dogs must be kept on a leash and at a distance of 10m from food stalls at all times. Owners are responsible for the safe keeping of their animals and must respect other patrons of the event. Pet owners must ensure all droppings are tidied up and removed from the event.

Can we bring our own food and drink to the event?

Yes you are welcome to bring food into the event, however as this is a food event, we encourage guests to try as much of the lovely food on offer as possible. Absolutely no BYO and no glass on site.

Can you bring alcohol into the event?

This is a licensed event. All alcohol must be purchased through the event bars. All patrons wishing to purchase alcohol must have ID.

Can I smoke in all areas of the venue?

As this is an outdoor event we cannot ask you not to smoke, however please be mindful of fellow patrons and small children in your area. And it is important that no smoking occurs near our food stalls.

Where can I locate lost property?

If you lose something at the markets, please speak to a member of our Security or Organisers team to leave your details of what was lost. If you find something at the markets, please hand it in to a member of the Security or Organisers team before you leave.

We’ll do our best to reunite items with their owners.
